Services
Neurological Physiotherapy
Specialist treatment for stroke, spinal cord injury, and neurological conditions using evidence-based techniques. Our physiotherapists employ manual therapy, functional exercises, and gait training to restore mobility and independence. Advanced technologies like functional electrical stimulation and robotics enhance recovery outcomes through neuroplasticity-driven interventions.
Hydrotherapy
Warm-water pool sessions leveraging buoyancy and resistance properties for safe movement rehabilitation. Particularly effective for neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, this therapy improves circulation, reduces spasticity, and enhances mobility without joint stress. Conducted at Moulton Leisure Centre by specialist physiotherapists.
Foot Drop Solutions
Comprehensive management combining physiotherapy, functional electrical stimulation, and orthotic devices. Tailored interventions address underlying causes from nerve damage to neurological conditions, improving walking patterns and reducing fall risks through both technological and exercise-based approaches.
Upper Limb Rehabilitation
Targeted recovery programmes for arm, wrist, and hand function using repetitive task-specific exercises and robotic assistance. Incorporates virtual reality and electrical stimulation to rebuild neural pathways, focusing on fine motor skills and daily living activities for stroke and nerve injury patients.
Personal Training
Customised exercise programmes utilising Galileo vibration technology and AlterG anti-gravity treadmills. Designed for neurological patients and general fitness seekers, combining strength training with functional movement patterns to improve mobility and overall physical conditioning.

What makes PhysioFunction so special is not only the skill and expertise of their staff like Agnes, but also the time they spend identifying the best individual treatment for your condition. In August 2010 I suffered a rare autoimmune neurological condition called Brachial Neuritis. Unfortunately I managed to acquire the bi-lateral condition which left me with loss of function in both arms and also affected my shoulders and back. PhysioFunction was recommended to me and I began a series of treatments with Agnieszka (Agnes) Kubalica.
Agnes devised a personalised treatment programme using a variety of techniques (PNF, NET, FES) and gave valuable advice on products to help my condition.
Two years later my recovery continues to make significant progress and what makes Physiofunction so special is not only the skill and expertise of their staff like Agnes, but also the time they spend identifying the best individual treatment for your condition. Kind regards.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in July 2012 at the age of 64. My balance was all over the place, my walking was very unsteady and I had no confidence. All that changed when I started having specialist physiotherapy from PhysioFunction. After a few sessions my confidence started to return and my balance and walking improved. This was due to the care, patience and dedication of my Physiotherapist. I still go every fortnight and while it can be tough, its well worth the effort.
