We are a small team of four people led by Peter Hamilton, the principal here. We understand that owners of small businesses vary in what they want from an accountant. Some want all of their accounting and taxation administration taken care of along with regular financial, business and taxation advice. Others only want the minimum service to help them meet their tax and legal obligations for a reduced fee.

Our founder has been helping businesses for the last seven years. Before setting up AccnTax, he worked in three chartered accountancy firms that specialise in the small business sector, including a top 15 firm based in the local area. He has a wide range of expertise in both accounting, taxation and business advice for small businesses. Over the years many other accountants have come to rely on his help with their own clients when specialist knowledge is required. I used to use a much larger accountancy firm for my companys accounts and taxation services. With Numerica, I now get a personalised service that I wasnt getting before, my accountancy fee is half of what it used to be, and Numerica told me how to get 12,000 from the government each year that my previous accountant never mentioned.

When I set my company up in 2015 I required an accountant to explain to me in laymans terms the basics of accounting and what was required from me as a company director. I searched online in Surrey and met with several accountants before I came across Peter and his team at AccounTax.
