Working throughout the UK, and even undertaking wedding commisions as far afield as New Zealand, DJP Weeding Photography create fantastic images. I provide
a variety of packages to suit all different types and weddings and venues. Over
the years I have photographed so many different types of weddings, from the two
hour intimate registry office venue to the two day country house extravaganza.
Although the structure of some weddings can be similar every wedding is unique
and every couple will require something a little bit different. I work in a
relaxed way to provide a calm, professional service, with a fresh, creative
twist. There is enough stress on your wedding day without adding to it with a
bossy or controlling wedding photographer. My style of photography is a mixture
of reportage and portrait. With many years experience as a
photographer for newspapers I can certainly capture those special moments and my
magazine and commercial background helps me to create the images that
make the album really special. Although based in the North-East, in last last
year or so I have been commissioned to shoot weddings through-out the UK and
internationally as far a field as New Zealand. So if you need a relaxed
photographer for your wedding venues in North Yorkshire, Northumberland, County
Durham please get in touch for a quote. Thanks for popping by and please feel to
get in touch to arrange a meeting.

"We chose Doug as our wedding photographer after being particularly impressed by online examples of his work. During a casual chat over coffee, we discussed the type of pictures we had in mind for our wedding. Needless to say, the pictures of our wedding were fantastic a perfect mixture of stylish, candid family shots and more formal shots. On the day Doug was typically amiable, relaxed, and completely understanding of the chaotic madness a big family wedding provides! Such was the success of the pictures, were still making copies of his images six months on for various family members! Thanks Doug, a true gent and a damn good photographer."

"We have just looked at the photos on the CD that you sent through and they are absolutely fantastic. I particularly loved the ones that you took outside in the rain but they all really brought back great memories of the day and it made me realise how well you blended into the background because I don't even remember you being around for some of them! I will look forward to seeing the draft album as per your letter but in the meantime, many thanks for capturing the day so brilliantly."
