Supporting Young People Through Personalised Learning
The Learning Space was founded to address the challenges faced by young people struggling with academic, social, or emotional barriers. Our approach stems from decades of direct experience in education and personal insight into neurodiversity, having supported individuals with diagnoses such as ASD and ADHD. We provide tailored learning environments that celebrate individuality, creativity, and unique learning styles. Our team combines professional expertise with lived experience to create flexible, person-centred programmes. We actively listen to young people and their families, designing bespoke interventions that foster growth, confidence, and success. The organisation's philosophy is rooted in the belief that every individual's differences should be celebrated as the norm. Our facilities, including the renovated Bakehouse with sensory spaces and creative workshops, enable diverse learning experiences. We work one-to-one with young people, focusing on their specific needs while maintaining strategic oversight through a dedicated Board of Trustees. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated through continuous improvement of our services and facilities. As a registered Scottish charity, we rely on donations and partnerships to expand our impact and ensure accessibility for all who need our support.

Learning Support
Personalised one-to-one learning programmes address academic and emotional barriers through flexible, individualised approaches. Our experienced educators create tailored environments that adapt to each young person's unique learning style. We focus on building confidence and developing skills through creative, practical activities that make learning accessible and engaging.
Sensory Development
Specialised sensory spaces support young people with sensory processing challenges through controlled, calming environments. Our facilities include equipment designed to help regulate sensory input and develop coping strategies. This service particularly benefits individuals with ASD, ADHD and other sensory-related needs through structured, supportive sessions.
Creative Workshops
Bespoke creative projects in our renovated Bakehouse facility foster self-expression and skill development. Activities include visual arts, music, and film-making that encourage personal growth and creative confidence. These workshops provide alternative learning pathways for young people who struggle with traditional educational formats.
