St Andrews Rugby Football Club

Established in 1929, St Andrews Rugby Football Club has been a cornerstone of community rugby development for over nine decades. Founded by the Rector of St. Andrews Church to channel the energy of local youth, we have grown from a boys' club into a multi-generational rugby institution serving players of all ages. Our commitment to excellence is demonstrated through our adherence to Rugby Football Union safeguarding standards, including mandatory Enhanced DBS checks for all coaching staff and mandatory 'Play It Safe' training.

We maintain rigorous child protection protocols aligned with RFU policies, ensuring a secure environment where participants under 18 receive comprehensive welfare support. Our club fosters core rugby values of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship while providing structured pathways from mini-junior levels through to senior competition. With historic grounds at Ashlawn Road and a legacy of nurturing local talent, we combine tradition with modern coaching methodologies to develop future rugby leaders.
