Welcome to First Lisburn Presbyterian Church
We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, centrally located in Lisburn. Our mission is to worship God in all aspects of life, offering traditional and contemporary services that reflect our diverse community. Through weekly Sunday worship at 11am and evening services on the first Sunday of each month, we create opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship. Our Breakfast Church initiative fosters community through shared meals and informal worship. We provide dedicated children's ministry programs including Little Pals for toddlers and Sunday School for older children. Our Prayer Healing Ministry offers spiritual support through direct ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit. We actively engage in community outreach through partnerships with organisations like Lisburn Downtown Centre, Christian Aid, and Christians Against Poverty. Our church office operates every Tuesday from 9am to 1pm, providing a welcoming point of contact for all inquiries. We maintain strong connections with local youth organisations including FLY, Girls' Brigade, and Sunday School programs. Our diverse groups such as the Bible Fellowship, Cross Community initiative, and Presbyterian Women's groups foster fellowship and spiritual development across all age groups.

Services
Worship Services
Our weekly Sunday services at 11am blend traditional hymns with contemporary worship music. The first Sunday of each month features Breakfast Church at 10am with shared meals and informal worship, followed by a traditional evening service at 7pm. All services include biblical teaching and opportunities for communal prayer.
Youth Ministry
We offer age-specific programs including Little Pals for infants and toddlers during morning services, and Sunday School for children aged 4-14. Our youth organisations include FLY (Fellowship of Leading Young people) and Girls' Brigade, providing spiritual development and social activities for teenagers.
Prayer Healing Ministry
This ministry focuses on direct spiritual intervention through prayer in the name of Jesus. Our trained team provides physical, emotional, and spiritual healing support, remaining available at the front of the church after each service to minister to individual needs through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Community Outreach
We partner with local organisations like Lisburn Downtown Centre and Christians Against Poverty to address community needs. Our initiatives include support groups for mental health, carers, and individuals with learning difficulties, alongside international aid through Christian Aid partnerships.
Bible Study Groups
Regular Bible Fellowship meetings and study sessions provide opportunities for scriptural exploration and application. These groups foster spiritual growth through shared learning, mutual encouragement, and prayer, operating both formally and informally across different age demographics.
