Trusted Family-Run Nursery in Liverpool Since 1966
We are a family-run nursery with over 52 years of experience, now managed by our third generation of family leaders. Our commitment lies in creating a 'Home from Home' environment where our professional team collaborates closely with parents to ensure children thrive in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing space. Established in 1966 by Marie Doyle, we were among Liverpool's pioneering nurseries and continue to uphold our legacy under the leadership of Marie's granddaughter, Kirsty Cooke, a qualified Early Years Teacher. Our on-site chef, Julie, prepares balanced meals tailored to individual dietary needs, supported by our recent 5-star hygiene rating from the local authority. We prioritise parental insight, working in partnership to enhance each child's nursery experience. Our dedicated staff, some with over 30 years of service, hold qualifications ranging from NVQ Level 3 to degrees in early years practice, ensuring expertise and continuity.

We actively engage in ongoing training through the Knowsley Early Years Team and in-house programs to stay current with childcare advancements. Settling-in sessions allow families to familiarise themselves with our team, while key persons provide daily updates and developmental assessments. Each child's learning journey is individually planned to align with their developmental stage, culminating in a keepsake file as they transition to school. Our purpose-built facility features five spacious rooms, a large garden, and a 'Kiddibus' for supervised outings, fostering holistic growth through play and exploration.

The room is designed to stimulate early development through sensory play and structured routines, fostering trust and comfort for the youngest children.
Pre-School Education
Children aged 3-5 engage in curriculum-aligned activities that prepare them for school. Our staff use play-based learning to develop literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Individualised planning ensures each child progresses at their own pace, with regular assessments shared with parents to track development and milestones.
Outdoor Play Areas
Our large garden features safety flooring, swings, bike paths, and a woodland area for exploration. Children develop physical coordination through active play while engaging with nature. The mud kitchen and planting zones encourage creativity and sensory learning, with separate spaces for babies to observe safely.
