Services
One-to-One Support
Our Count Me In service provides individualized support for learning disabled and autistic people seeking independent living. We carefully match members with skilled support workers to develop life skills, attend appointments, and participate in community activities. This tailored approach ensures consistent coverage even when primary support workers are unavailable, with assistance available across Leeds.
Social Groups
Changing Lives Clubs and associated groups offer structured social opportunities across Leeds. These sessions focus on building friendships, developing social skills, and participating in recreational activities. The program includes themed clubs, craft sessions, and city-centre outings designed to enhance community engagement and personal confidence for participants.
Healthy Lifestyles Programme
This initiative promotes physical and mental wellbeing through structured health-focused activities. Participants engage in fitness programs, nutrition education, and outdoor pursuits designed to improve overall health. The program operates across multiple locations in Leeds, incorporating both educational components and practical exercise opportunities.
Travel Support
Travel with Confidence helps members develop independent travel skills. The program includes practical training for using public transport, route planning, and safety awareness. Support workers accompany participants during initial journeys, gradually building confidence for solo travel across Leeds' transport network.
Community Projects
Our OUT in Leeds LGBTQ+ project and similar initiatives create safe spaces for marginalized groups. These programs combine social activities with personal development opportunities, specifically addressing the needs of learning disabled and autistic individuals within the LGBTQ+ community through weekly group sessions and support networks.
