Shirecliffe Community Centre was established in 2007 following a 1.25 million extension and refurbishment, officially opened by the Lord Mayor Jackie Drayton and MP David Blunkett. We are managed by Shirecliffe Community Forum, a charitable organisation dedicated to providing accessible community services. Our facilities include free internet access, weekly clubs, activities, room hire, and fully serviced offices. The Centre prioritises regeneration for future generations through inclusive, community-led initiatives. Our team of local volunteer directors ensures the building remains a hub for social and commercial engagement.The original structure, featuring a historic stage and parquet floor, was preserved during renovations, while a modern two-storey office block was added to generate sustainable income. We offer flexible spaces for meetings, training, events, and parties, accommodating up to 100 people. Additional amenities include flip charts, projectors, kitchenware, and partnerships with local caterers. Our mission aligns with values of inclusion, partnership, and social development, fostering opportunities for all community members.
