Welcome to Kensington Baptist Church
Kensington Baptist Church has served the Easton and Bristol communities since 1831, offering worship, fellowship, and outreach rooted in Christian faith. Our diverse congregation gathers for Sunday services, evening prayer meetings, and weekly small groups to study scripture and support one another. With a rich history of adaptation, including post-war rebuilding and modernisation projects, we prioritise accessibility and inclusivity through flexible seating, lifts, and community meals. We engage locally through initiatives like the Community Caf and globally through mission partnerships, while providing online resources including sermons and prayer support. Our doctrinal foundation centres on the divinity of Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible, guiding both worship and daily practice.

Sunday Services
Our Sunday services combine traditional worship with contemporary elements, featuring biblical preaching and congregational singing. Held at 11:00 AM and 6:30 PM, they include opportunities for fellowship and community meals. The services are accessible via live stream for those unable to attend in person.
Small Groups
Weekly small groups meet in homes across Bristol for Bible study, prayer, and mutual support. These informal gatherings provide opportunities to build relationships while exploring Christian teachings through discussion and practical application in daily life contexts.
Community Outreach
Through initiatives like the Community Caf and outreach programs, we engage with Easton residents regardless of background. Our activities include youth work, food distribution, and seasonal events designed to build relationships and demonstrate Christian care.
Sermons Online
Recorded sermons and worship services are available through our website and app. This includes both audio and video formats, allowing access to biblical teaching for those unable to attend physically or preferring to engage remotely.
Prayer Meetings
Regular prayer meetings focus on personal needs, community concerns, and global issues. Participants gather weekly to pray according to biblical principles, seeking God's guidance and intervention in practical matters affecting church and society.
