Welcome to Holbrooks Evangelical Church Coventry
Established in 1911, Holbrooks Evangelical Church is a reformed evangelical congregation based in Coventry. We uphold the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and are committed to proclaiming salvation through Christ's sacrifice. Our Sunday services at 10:30am and 6:00pm include worship, prayer, and expository preaching. We offer ministries for all ages, including Sunday School for children at 12:15pm, youth groups, and community outreach initiatives. Affiliated with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), we prioritise biblical teaching and fellowship.

Visitors receive a warm welcome from our dedicated Welcome Team, with refreshments served after services. Our mid-week activities include prayer meetings, Mums and Tots sessions, and a monthly Ladies Coffee and Catch Up. The church operates a food bank every Thursday evening and actively engages in local community support. We provide accessible facilities, including a crche during sermons and live video relays for overflow areas. Our mission is to glorify God through faithful worship, discipleship, and service in Coventry and beyond.

Sunday Services
Our Sunday services at 10:30am and 6:00pm feature congregational singing, prayer, Bible readings, and expository preaching. The morning service includes a children's talk and crche facilities, while the evening service focuses on deeper scriptural study. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are served after each service to encourage fellowship among members and visitors.
Children's Ministry
We offer Sunday School at 12:15pm for children during term time. Younger children can attend the first half of the morning service before moving to the crche. All children's activities include age-appropriate Bible teaching, crafts, and games under the supervision of DBS-checked volunteers, ensuring both safety and spiritual growth.
Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry meets on alternate Friday nights at 8pm for students aged 11-18. The programme combines interactive Bible studies, worship sessions, and social activities. We focus on building faith foundations while addressing contemporary challenges through a biblical perspective in a supportive peer environment.
Prayer Meetings
Every Tuesday at 7:45pm we hold mid-week prayer meetings focusing on corporate intercession and spiritual renewal. The meetings include guided prayer sessions, scripture meditation, and opportunities for personal prayer requests. This dedicated time fosters spiritual growth and strengthens our church community through shared faith.
Food Bank
Our food bank operates every Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, providing essential groceries to local families in need. The service distributes nutritionally balanced food parcels while offering compassionate support. We partner with local agencies to ensure sustainable assistance and connect recipients with additional community resources when needed.
