Premier Aikido and Fitness Training in Coventry
Established in 1970, Phoenix Aikido & Fitness Club has been a cornerstone of martial arts training in Coventry for over five decades. Our dojo, located behind Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant on Broad Lane, offers traditional Aikido instruction alongside complementary fitness and wellness programmes. As a member of the British Aikido Board and affiliate of Yama Arashi Brussels, we maintain rigorous standards in teaching Morihei Ueshiba's non-violent martial art. Our principal coach Barbara Moss, a 6th Dan instructor, continues the legacy established by founders Tom and Barbara Moss.

With three dedicated training spaces and a welcoming environment, we cater to practitioners of all ages and experience levels. Our comprehensive timetable includes adult and junior Aikido classes, T'ai Chi, Reiki sessions, and general fitness training. Visitors are always welcome to observe classes and experience our community atmosphere. The dojo's strategic location provides convenient access with ample parking facilities. We remain committed to preserving the authentic principles of Aikido while adapting to modern training needs.
