Sholing Baptist Church

Sholing Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of spiritual growth and community engagement in Southampton since its establishment. Our church community is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where individuals can explore faith, build meaningful connections, and contribute to local and global outreach initiatives. With Pastor Chris Ricketts leading since 1987, our congregation combines decades of experience with a commitment to modern, accessible worship. We prioritise biblical teachings while maintaining an inclusive approach that welcomes all ages and backgrounds. Our diverse programme of services and activities caters to different generations, from Sunday morning worship to youth groups and community events.

We actively engage in local outreach and support initiatives that reflect our core values of compassion and service. Our leadership team, comprising experienced individuals with deep roots in the community, ensures both spiritual and practical oversight. The church building itself serves as a hub for both worship and social interaction, featuring facilities that accommodate various gatherings. We maintain strong connections with regional Baptist networks while preserving our independent identity. Through regular events like our Bonfire Night celebrations and annual church camp, we strive to create memorable experiences that strengthen community bonds.
