Gentle and Effective Chiropractic Care in Twyford
We are a family-run McTimoney Chiropractic clinic established in 2009, based in Twyford near Reading. Our practice began in a converted room at home and has grown into a dedicated clinic on London Road, offering patients modern facilities. Louise Preece founded the clinic after discovering the benefits of McTimoney Chiropractic following a car accident. Her passion for helping others has driven our commitment to gentle, effective whole-body treatments suitable for all ages. Over the years, Louise has been joined by her sons Thomas, a Level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist, Ben, who manages reception, and her husband David, who handles administrative tasks. Our team prioritises patient health and wellbeing, ensuring treatments are only provided when necessary. All our chiropractors maintain professional memberships with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA), and regularly undertake additional training to enhance our services. Patient satisfaction is central to our success, with most new clients coming through referrals. Our approach combines expertise, transparency, and a focus on long-term health outcomes.

McTimoney Chiropractic
McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle, whole-body treatment focusing on spinal adjustments to improve mobility and reduce pain. Suitable for all ages, it addresses misalignments causing discomfort in the back, neck, and joints. Our practitioners use precise, non-invasive techniques to promote natural healing and long-term wellness.
Sports Massage
Sports Massage targets muscle tension and injuries caused by physical activity or repetitive strain. Our therapists use deep-tissue techniques to enhance recovery, improve flexibility, and prevent future injuries. Ideal for athletes and active individuals seeking relief from muscular discomfort.
Epley Manoeuvre
The Epley Manoeuvre is a specialised technique for treating benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). By repositioning inner ear crystals, it alleviates dizziness and balance issues. Our practitioners perform this safe, effective procedure to provide rapid relief from vertigo symptoms.

Louise is amazing, friendly and so welcoming. I've been seeing her for years now and she's honestly got magic hands, pain free and instant relief. The clinic now offers sports massages, had my first one with Carly and that was also incredible! Highly recommend!

Had the Epley Manoeuvre as well as treatment on a very old neck and shoulder injury. This lovely lady has magic hands and the McTimoney method is very well suited to me. She always explains what she is doing and does not suggest unnecessary treatments - her aim is to get you sorted as quickly as possible, and will make you as comfortable as she can during treatment. I feel so much better since visiting Louise.

Cannot rate Louise highly enough. I went in to see her suffering from lower back pain which had also caused pain in my foot, and just one session later the discomfort was significantly reduced, and she also worked on areas of my back that I didn't realise had issues. The treatment is really something; so relaxing and responsive, she has such a way with her work. I've had a second session and the overall improvement in my posture and discomfort is extremely noticeable.
