Services
Osteopathy
Osteopathic treatment uses hands-on techniques like soft tissue manipulation and joint mobilisation to reduce pain and improve mobility. We specialise in musculoskeletal conditions, combining treatment with tailored exercise programs to address issues such as back pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Our approach focuses on long-term recovery through patient education and self-management strategies.
Acupuncture
Western Medical Acupuncture is integrated into treatment plans to alleviate pain and muscle tension. This evidence-based technique targets specific points to reduce inflammation and promote healing. It's particularly effective for chronic pain conditions, headaches, and stress-related musculoskeletal issues when combined with osteopathic care.
BPPV Treatment
Specialised treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) using the Epley Manoeuvre. This precise technique repositions inner ear crystals causing dizziness. We provide immediate relief for acute episodes and teach self-management techniques to prevent recurrence, improving patients' quality of life.
Pain Management
Comprehensive management for persistent pain conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis. Our approach combines manual therapy, movement re-education, and lifestyle modifications to reduce pain perception. We address psychological factors through patient education, helping individuals regain control over their health and daily activities.
Postural Assessment
Detailed evaluation of posture and movement patterns to identify pain sources. We assess work ergonomics, exercise habits, and daily activities contributing to musculoskeletal strain. Customised corrective exercises and lifestyle advice are provided to improve alignment and prevent future injuries.

Questions
What conditions do you treat?
We treat musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, joint pain, sports injuries, and BPPV. Chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia and arthritis are also managed effectively.
Do I need a GP referral?
No referral is needed as osteopaths are independent practitioners. However, we can coordinate care with your GP if required for insurance or medical reasons.
What happens during the first appointment?
The initial consultation includes a detailed health history review, physical examination, and discussion of treatment options. We explain your condition clearly and create a personalised recovery plan tailored to your needs.
Is osteopathy safe?
Osteopathy is a regulated Allied Health Profession with NHS recognition. Treatments are adapted to individual needs, and any risks are discussed beforehand to ensure safe, effective care.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients see improvement within 3-6 sessions. Complex cases may require longer treatment. Progress is reviewed regularly, and your active participation through exercises speeds recovery.
What should I wear to appointments?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing like shorts and a vest top to allow movement assessment and treatment of affected areas.
