My journey began at 17 when I picked up the electric guitar, and within six months, I was performing in bands. Over the years, I have expanded my expertise to include acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, and harmonica. My teaching career began in 2002, and since then, I have helped students of all ages progress from beginners to advanced players, including guiding many through RGT examinations with distinction. I found Barry's teaching style exactly right for me. He gets you into playing real tunes quickly and makes the theory side fun and understandable. He is also a very accomplished player himself which I found inspired me to want to get that 'next level'.
