North East Scotland Youth For Christ

North East Scotland Youth For Christ has been dedicated to transforming young lives through Christian youth work since its founding in 1989. As an independent Scottish charity affiliated with British Youth for Christ, we have focused on delivering the Gospel to young people in Aberdeen and surrounding areas through school programs, community outreach, and events like Rock Solid clubs and Breathe worship sessions. Our volunteer-driven approach, supported by a full-time youth worker, has historically prioritized relevance to local youth issues while fostering partnerships with churches and secular organizations. Despite recent operational changes, including the conclusion of our Tillydrone ministry in 2025, we remain committed to exploring new ways to fulfill our mission across North East Scotland.

Our Steering Group, comprising experienced trustees, continues to guide strategic decisions while we evaluate future directions. With a legacy of impactful initiatives such as the Granite Busters summer missions and football ministry through The Cage, we maintain a strong foundation for potential renewed outreach. Our Statement of Faith, aligned with international Youth for Christ principles, ensures theological consistency across all activities. While current operations are paused during transitional planning, our core vision of demonstrating God's love through action remains unchanged. We actively seek divine guidance for our next steps and welcome community support through prayer and engagement.
