Welcome to Costessey Baptist Church in Norwich
Costessey Baptist Church has been a spiritual and community cornerstone in Costessey since 1798, with our current chapel opening in 1822. We are a welcoming community dedicated to mission, love for people, and making Jesus known. Our ethos centres on belonging before belief, creating an inclusive environment for all. We witness to God's love through Jesus Christ, encouraging lives that reflect this love in word, thought, and action. Our Sunday worship services at 10:45am include children's activities, while weekly meetings and events cater to all ages.

The church hall hosts diverse activities including Cafe Church, Coffee Mornings, and the Costessey Monkeys toddler group. As members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, we support BMS World Mission and local outreach initiatives. Our historic chapel and cemetery stand as testaments to our enduring commitment to the community. We actively engage in mission work and provide spaces for both spiritual growth and social connection. Whether you're new to the area, exploring faith, or seeking community, we extend a warm welcome to join us.
