NHS Dental Treatment
We provide comprehensive NHS dental care with standardised charges covering examinations, fillings, extractions, and restorative work. Patients pay one fee per treatment course regardless of visits. Emergency appointments available during practice hours with separate charges. Exemptions apply for eligible groups including under-18s and pregnant women.
Private Dental Treatments
Our private services offer enhanced options including teeth straightening, veneers, and specialist implantology. Patients benefit from reserved appointment times, choice of dentist, and advanced treatment techniques. We provide detailed cost breakdowns with transparent pricing for procedures like crowns, bridges, and cosmetic dentistry.
Facial Aesthetics
Dr Thomas Newbery delivers facial aesthetics including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Treatments address crow's feet, forehead lines, and lip augmentation using hyaluronic acid. Prices start from 250 with consultation required prior to treatment. We offer gummy smile reduction and peri-oral line treatments with lasting effects.
Emergency Treatment
Urgent dental care available during practice hours with same-day appointments prioritised. Out-of-hours emergencies directed to NHS Direct Wales. Private emergency appointments include treatment for one tooth and necessary X-rays. Charges apply for missed appointments to ensure fair access for all patients.
Denplan Membership
We offer Denplan payment schemes for budgeting private dental care. Options include Denplan Care with treatment coverage and Denplan Essentials for preventive care. Membership provides worldwide dental emergency cover and access to 24-hour helpline support. Tailored payment plans available following dental assessment.

Questions
How much does NHS dental treatment cost?
NHS dental charges have three bands: £20 for examinations and preventive care, £60 for fillings/extractions, and £260 for crowns/dentures. Emergency treatment costs £30.
Can I access emergency treatment outside hours?
For out-of-hours emergencies, contact NHS Direct Wales on 111. Private emergency appointments during practice hours cost £115-£150.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank cards (excluding American Express), and offer interest-free finance for treatment plans between £500-£1000 over 12 months.
Do you offer facial aesthetics treatments?
Yes, Dr Thomas Newbery provides anti-wrinkle injections from £300, dermal fillers from £250, and gummy smile reduction treatments starting at £250.
Can I cancel my appointment?
We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Repeated missed appointments may result in removal from our list, with charges for missed private appointments.
Are home visits available?
We cannot provide home visits but can refer patients to appropriate community services when necessary.

I have been using Eastside Dental for around 3 years, after loosing my NHS Dentist. I went to Eastside Dental initially as an emergency appointment through the 101 service, at the time they weren't taking on any NHS Patients. So the option of going private was suggested to me. I had to have an examination before I could become a private patient with Eastside Dental, which highlighted a few issues that I needed corrected before I could go into the private plan.
This did cost me quite substantially, but once this was done I have been a regular there, I can honestly say I am so glad that I went through with this. As the level of service you get from Eastside Dental is outstanding there professionalism, care , knowledge is absolutely amazing they really do care about you how they talk through everything with you so that you understand in great detail. They will always go above and beyond for you.
My dentist is Mark and all of the above applies to him, I would never go back to being a NHS Patient nor would I ever use another dentist. So a big thank you to all of you @ Eastside Dental you're very much appreciated.

I recently moved Dentist and was a little apprehensive as I had a good relationship with my old dentist and only moved out of private dentist because financial circumstances had changed. I was pleasantly surprised with my new dentist Tom he was really knowledgeable and happy to explain things to me. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and this is exactly what I was looking for. I was instantly reassured that I had made the right decision to move to this dental surgery. Thank you

I had my first appointment as a new patient with Dr Williams yesterday and left feeling incredibly pleased that I chose Eastside as my new practice. All of the staff that I encountered before my appointment, both on the phone and when I arrived, were so professional and pleasant.
Dr Williams is by far the best dentist I have ever had; he is such a warm gentleman who explained absolutely everything to me and even showed me my x-ray of my teeth! It was such a quick yet simultaneously thorough appointment. A perfect experience from start to finish, thank you so much Dr Williams and Eastside!
