Welcome to Dundee West Church
Dundee West Church is a diverse Christian community rooted in the Methodist tradition, serving Dundee and surrounding areas since 1759 when John Wesley first visited the city. We prioritise worship through prayer and praise, biblical study for spiritual growth, and social action to support marginalised groups. Worship Services
Weekly Sunday worship gatherings featuring prayer, hymns, scripture readings and sermons. Services typically last one hour and include opportunities for fellowship afterwards. Special services include monthly Holy Communion and annual Covenant Services that reflect Methodist traditions. All services follow quarterly preaching plans with ordained ministers and lay preachers.

These include daily lectionary-based studies from the Methodist Prayer Handbook and special study groups exploring theological topics. Community Outreach
Initiatives addressing local needs through The Link Club for adults with learning disabilities and the Methodist Clothesbank partnership.
