Red Barn Studios

Established in 1994 by Stuart and Gill Duncan, Red Barn Studios is a family-run recording and video production facility nestled in the countryside near Dundee, Scotland. Our studio was lovingly converted from an old grain loft at Monorgan Farm, offering a unique blend of relaxed atmosphere and modern technology. We specialise in professional recording sessions, location recordings, and live production, serving both established record labels and emerging artists. Our video production capabilities include corporate videos, music DVDs, and event documentation using semi-professional equipment. Clients benefit from our expertise spanning nearly three decades, with tailored support ensuring every project achieves its full potential. The studio's rural setting provides a tranquil environment conducive to creativity, while remaining accessible from major Scottish airports.

We offer comprehensive CD and DVD manufacturing services, including design, licensing assistance, and high-quality production. Our commitment to client satisfaction is reflected in our flexible approach, transparent pricing, and attention to detail across all services. With a proven track record working with diverse clients from Gordon Pattullo to the Dundee Strathspey and Reel Society, we combine technical excellence with a personal touch. Our facilities feature Pro Tools LE, extensive outboard gear, and a spacious studio floor with drum booth, complemented by mobile production capabilities for location work.
