Expert Martial Arts Training in Oxford
Established in 1968, Atado Ju Jitsu Club Oxford delivers comprehensive self-defence training rooted in a hybrid martial arts system. Our curriculum integrates techniques from Ju Jitsu, Kung Fu, Judo, Karate, Aikido, and other disciplines, emphasizing practical street survival skills adaptable to all ages and physical abilities. With a lineage tracing back to Grand Master Edward Leong Fu's post-WW2 teachings for Western servicemen, we uphold a philosophy of non-aggression while fostering physical fitness and technical proficiency. Our volunteer-run club reinvests all surplus funds into training resources and community engagement, maintaining affiliation with the English Ju Jitsu Federation since our founding. Under the leadership of 4th Dan instructor David Rogers, we provide structured grading pathways from beginner red tabs to black belt mastery, incorporating weapon defence and advanced combat scenarios.
