Farnham Park

Established in 1977, Farnham Park is a private members' golf club operating an 18-hole parkland course originally developed from historic grounds. Our course, The South Buckinghamshire, features mature trees, strategic ditches, and championship-standard greens, offering par 70 for men and par 73 for ladies. As a member of the National Association of Public Golf Courses (NAPGC), we have achieved notable success in county-level competitions, including multiple Whitewebbs Competition victories. The club maintains its heritage through meticulous course preservation while modernising facilities, including our purpose-built 2014 clubhouse. Our member-led governance ensures community-focused operations, with regular competitions for men's, ladies', and senior sections.

The course remains accessible year-round with minimal restrictions, featuring temporary greens and preferred lies during challenging seasons. Our history traces back to pre-WWII ladies' golf, with wartime agricultural use maintaining playable surfaces through both World Wars. The 1982 Hawtree-designed expansion to 18 holes solidified our reputation as a premier local golf destination. We host inter-club matches and maintain competitive honours boards recognising both individual and team achievements. Our charitable status and parliamentary deed of gift ensure continued public access to this historic sporting facility.
