Cambridge Early Music Concerts & Summer Schools
Since 1993, Cambridge Early Music has been dedicated to advancing the appreciation of historical music through education and performance. Founded by Selene Mills, our organisation initially focused on providing high-level courses in historically-informed performance before expanding to curate an annual series of ten concerts featuring both established and lesser-known works from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Our prestigious Summer Schools specialising in Renaissance and Baroque music attract amateur, semi-professional, and professional musicians from across the UK and internationally.

We collaborate with local universities to support students and young musicians through initiatives like Cambridgeshire Music Hub, while also offering discounted concert access for students and free entry for under-18s. Our commitment to emerging artists is demonstrated through the Cambridge Early Music Prize at the York Early Music Festival and partnerships with schemes like Brighton Early Music Live. With a focus on artistic excellence and scholarly integrity, we create inclusive musical communities that celebrate cultural diversity and intellectual exploration.
