The Antiques Centre with 120+ dealers is located in Building 18 at the Elsecar Heritage Centre site near Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Midway between Sheffield and Leeds, Elsecar Heritage Centre is a National attraction set in the conservation village of Elsecar, surrounded by beautiful South Yorkshire countryside.  The Heritage Centre is within the former ironworks and colliery workshops of the Earls Fitzwilliam.  The site comprises of sympathetically restored Victorian buildings and offers much more.

Site attractions include;

An indoor play and party venue for children called Playmania.

Daycare, nursery and wrap around care provided by The Railway Children.

The Elsecar Steam Railway is on site, running along the Dearne and Dove Canal, to Hemingfield and back.

Elsecar houses The Newcomen Beam Engine.

The only Newcomen type engine to remain in its original position since the Industrial age.

Elsecar has a variety of working crafts people. Workshops include picture framing, hand produced Glass, printing and encaustic art.  Specialist shops and eateries, including  “Maison Du Biere” a traditional sweet and chocolate shop, and eateries namely Brambles Tea Room and The Pantry Cafe and Delicatessen.
