THE LEARNING JOURNEY
All children can be very different and, when your child first joins nursery school, our staff will interact and observe them in to assess what they know and what they can/can’t do. This enables us to plan the next steps for each child’s early learning.
Following entry assessment, we are happy to meet and share our (and your own) knowledge, we can then discuss our process for your child’s key development steps together and provide regular updates.
This means we can all monitor the child’s progress and make sure he/she is participating, playing and learning to their full potential. This often highlights areas where children need additional help. When the time comes for your child to leave us and enter the next stage of schooling, we can share information and feedback relating to your child’s progress and achievements.
HOLIDAY CLUB
At Kids Co we have a holiday club for school children up to the age of 8 years old.
Our Holiday club is offered on a first come first served basis as we only have a few spaces available. Children will be involved in lots of outdoor activities, cooking, team games and arts and crafts.
A daily session from 8.00-5.00 will be £35.50 & 8.00-6.00 is £38.85.

NUTRITION
At Kids Co children’s nursery we aim to provide the best that we can to promote healthy eating for your children. A variety of snacks are offered to promote making choices and these include cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots and many types of fruit.
At lunch time hot meals are provided by Cupcakes Catering, who have a three week rolling menu that is nutritionally balanced (menus available on request).
We, together with Cupcakes Catering, who have been awarded 5* by the Council’s Environmental Health Inspectors, will endeavour to do our best to meet all cultural and dietary requirements needed for your child.
