Bolton’s Funeral Service is an independent family business, which has been serving the community since 1927. Directors John and Janet Bolton are the third generation of this family-run business and welcome you. We are here to help you and your family during this difficult time. PERSONAL SERVICE
Bolton’s Funerals are an established funeral company located in Aspull, Wigan. We also cover the surrounding areas that include Bolton, St Helens, Chorley and Warrington. The death of a loved one is a distressing event and at this painful time John and Janet, together with their caring staff, aim to remove the stress involved when organising the funeral. We have decades of experience and will help you to plan a bespoke service that will honour the life of the person you have lost. Our flexible approach will accommodate your wishes from a traditional to perhaps something more personalised. FUNERAL PLANS
In addition to our regular options we also accept pre-paid funeral plans and can arrange a bespoke funeral to suit your requirements.
FCA compliant
A funeral plan is an easy way to arrange the funeral you want in advance. A plan allows you to specify your wishes and pay for the funeral director’s services included in your plan. As customers often tell us, that can bring peace of mind to you and your family. A plan from Golden Charter also includes an allowance towards third party costs. These are essential, non-funeral director services such as the cremation or burial fees, plus the minister or officiant’s fee to perform the service. The value of the allowance included in your plan may grow over time. There will only be more to pay at the time of the funeral if the third party costs exceed the allowance when you buy your plan, or if the costs increase by more than the growth of your plan.

We are an independent, family-owned and operated funeral director that began in 1927 when our grandfather, Jack Bolton, laid the foundation by setting up the business, carried on by our father, Keith Bolton.
