Newlands Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic was established at Newlands Lawn Tennis Club in 1999. We are a team of experienced Chartered Physiotherapists offering expert one-to-one Physiotherapy. Treatments offered include: general Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Sports Injury treatment and Rehabilitation (including massage, soft tissue mobilisation, manipulations, strappings, individualised functional exercise programmes etc.), Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, Electrotherapy (e.g. ultrasound, interferential therapy etc). Our clients vary from high performance sports athletes and professionals to non-athletic arthritis sufferers. Any age or ability, Newlands Physiotherapy can help you.

All our Physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and are Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). We are recognised providers for the major Health Care Insurance Companies e.g. AXA Health, BUPA, AVIVA, PruHealth, Healthcare RM, WPA, and will be more than happy to see you with your pre-authorisation completed.

Some of our Physiotherapists have experience working for major sporting bodies such as The British Olympic Association, SportScotland Institute of Sport, Scottish Rugby Union and Scottish Athletics, and have been part of the medical support teams at several Commonwealth Games, Winter Olympics, and various other major sporting events.

Prices at Newlands Physiotherapy

• Initial Assessment £50
• Follow up £45
• Treatment sessions last 40 minutes and cost £45 per session
• Initial home visit is £70 (return visit rates are dependent on the individual)
• Sports Massage is £45 for 45 minutes

Treatments should be paid for at the end of each session. We can only offer credit to those clients who are utilising their Private Healthcare/Insurance policies - treatment MUST BE AUTHORISED by the insurance company before treatment can begin. Please note we accept cash, cheques, card, bank transfer, or Private Health Insurance.

Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. If you do not arrive at your appointment or fail to give 24 hours notice of cancellation of your appointment, you will be charge the full £45 non-attendance fee.
