Knowledge Gap, Skills Gap, Performance Gap
Closing the Gap is based close to the southern motorway network and operates mainly across the south of England, London and the Midlands. We offer a number of staff training and development courses, predominantly for the health and social care sectors. We also offer a Care Home support and consultancy service looking at CQC compliance issues, including mock CQC inspections.
Our Principal is a qualified nurse with more than 20 years experience in the sector. Our holistic approach to working with care service providers has been developed through a combination of personal employment experiences in public, private and voluntary sector care provision, and also the regulation and inspection of these services.
Our CQC support services include carrying out mock inspections, advice on completing and achieving CQC improvement plans, and guidance on improving to Outstanding CQC ratings.
Although training courses delivered for host organisations have serious content matter, the delivery style is participative, encourages attendees to contribute their own experiences, and the trainers all use humour in their delivery style to help participants relax and get the most from the courses.
