ITG Instructor Training provide quality First Aid Instructor Training and First Aid Train the Trainer courses for Individuals who would like to be able to start their own First Aid Business and for Companies and Businesses who want to deliver the full range of accredited First Aid Courses in House.

First Aid training is expensive for businesses both in time and money. Many companies are now opting for in house training and we can help you by ensuring that the employees you select to provide the courses can complete their new roles with confidence.

If you choose ITG for your first aid trainer course, you will also be qualified as a Paediatric First Aid Instructor and AED Instructor as we always include both in our training, you deserve to gain a thorough knowledge of first aid which will increase the number of courses you can deliver. 

You can become one of the hundreds of individuals who have trained with ITG and have either started their own succesfull first aid business or who wanted to add first aid training to the range of courses they already provide.

If you want to start a first aid business or teach in-house and are concerned about being able to offer the level of qualifications your customers or employer will want , you can register with our sister company ProTrainings, they can help you to ensure that the qualifications you provide to your customers meet all of the new requirements under the HSE and Skills for Health they also provide comprehensive ongoing training support and material updates to make sure your training is always up to date. Train the Trainer - teaching and assessing qualifications, AET, CET and CAVA

If you are already delivering training and wish to continue with your teacher training we also offer the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. The theory is completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment and the practical requirements are met during your delivery of a minimum of 30 hours teaching.

Assessing qualifications are completed online through our Virtual Learning Environment, with the practical assessment modules completed during real training where you assess 2 learners. Other Courses - Health and Safety, First Responder on Scene

We also provide a range of other courses including Health and Safety, Food Safety and the First Responder on Scene. All of our courses are available as open courses, which are held at our training centre in Colchester, Essex, we also provide onsite training for groups, if you would like more information about arranging training for your business, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also deliver blended first aid at work requalification courses for instructors who need to renew their first aid qualification.

Other courses available include Manual Handling Instructor and Moving and Assisting people Trainer. These are generally taught in small groups and will add to your skills.

Delivering First Aid Training

Learning to deliver first aid training is just the start. You will have to make sure that the training you deliver meets all of the regulations under the HSE and Skills for Health.

First Aid Equipment

Setting up to start teaching involves purchasing first aid training equipment, this isn't as expensive as you may think and if you start out with your manikins, first aid consumables and AED trainer, you can add additional items that will make your first aid courses more fun as and when you can afford to.

Additional items include Choking Vest Trainers, clever catch balls and various other first aid items.
