Mobility scooter charger checks
Please not that sheltered housing have regulations in relation to charging disability scooters in communal areas so please adhere to the regulations
A free Service offered by TPT Teesside for OAP's and others with walking disability's that stops them from walking and rely on a mobility scooter to get around.
The charger units on battery powered scooters need to be checked to ensure they are safe to use and do not pose a risk to the user, We offer this free service within Teesside only at the moment.
TPT will come out to your home and check your scooter charger unit visually and electrically to ensure the unit is safe and so reducing the risk of fire in the home as many are left on during the night and also left near exit points in the home.
Terms and conditions..............This free service is running to December 2018 and if this service proves popular we will extend this vital service into the future.
You can phone us on 07756511211 or send a message and a time will be arranged with TPT and yourself as this is an in home service but we do ask that a responsible person is present( carer/ assistant/family member) when TPT carry out the testing of the charger units due to data Protection and safeguarding ...All TPT staff Carry official ID at all times and are enhanced DBS certified and checks carried out by a qualified engineer.
