A complete stock of sheet materials is now held in our two freehold warehouses in Hull together with significant stocks held in Tilbury, Felixstowe and Liverpool. The firm has achieved ISO9001 qualification and is aware of its responsibilities in striving to ensure materials are sourced from managed and sustainable forests and as such are currently undergoing qualification for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC )Programme For The Endorsement Of Forest Certification Schemes. Some time ago we diversified from solely importing panel products to creating manufacturing lines for flat press bonding and vinyl lamination. The panels produced on these two lines are manufactured for both internal and external use on permanent and relocatable buildings.

read moreThe business was established in 1986 with just two members of staff from a small rented office and warehouse in Hull. During the initial years of trading the company utilised shared haulage and handling facilities. As the business grew, we purchased our first property on Oxford Street with office and warehousing facilities. The first Yorkshire Plywood vehicle was purchased shortly after. This would be our home for the next 30 Years. After the success of providing wood based panel products to local and nationwide timber merchants, Yorkshire Plywood purchased its first bonding machine, and shortly after second machine to provide high performance external and internal panels for the construction industry.
