We're holding an Open/Taster day day on Sunday afternoon - 25th April 2010 why not come along and see what we can provide. It's free, should be fun (look out for the golden shot) and there will be incentives on the day to join the club. Reciprocal agreement with Ludlow Golf Club has been agreed - a member of Wrekin will be capable to play at Ludlow Golf Club for a reduced fee - please call our Pro, Owen for more information. To use a reciprocal agreement you need to contact the professional at Ludlow in advance to check there are free tee times.

History
read moreThe earliest record of a golf club in Wellington was the Wellington College Golf Club. By 1905 the basics of the Wellington Golf Club were loosely established with members (including local townspeople) starting to play medals on a monthly basis. The search was then started for a new course that would distinguish the Golf Club from the College Golf Club. By 1907 the Wellington Golf Club had found new links to play at Steeraway. Construction of the course we use today was completed in Summer 1910.
