All of our Italian fittings are of brass construction and are chrome plated, then further finished with either a brushed or bright chrome surface which is of a higher detergent resistance than stainless steel. Stainless steel shower door parts or wet room fittings offer little resistance to detergent contamination (such as shower gels and other shower room chemicals) and often result in red dot residue on the surface which is difficult to remove, even when treated on a regular basis.
