We realise that sometimes there is a need to cancel an appointment, however please can you try and give the practice as much notice as possible as this enables us to try and provide the appointment to somebody else. A 'DNA'Did Not Attend) is when somebody doesn't turn up to an appointment they have made, be it routine or booked on the day. We accept that very occasionally there is a genuine reason for somebody not turning up. However if a patient has 3 unexplained DNAs within a year we'll withdraw them from our practice list.
