Walworth Castle Hotel is set within the rolling countryside of the Tees valley, just to the W of Darlington and close to the A1(M) in County Durham. It was founded in 1189 and is one of the few castle hotels in England. Recently refurbished to an extremely high standard by owners Rachel and Chris Swain, Walworth Castle Hotel really is the perfect venue to sample England's living history. Walworth Hair and Beauty Salon is now open. In addition to our founded cutting and styling for Ladies, Gents and Children's hair, we're now providing a complete array of beauty treatments in our brand new treatment rooms.

read moreWe have some beautiful rooms which are located within the castle itself, as well as some located in an annex adjoining the main building. All our rooms throughout the hotel are tastefully designed with the guest in mind. We offer complimentary wifi throughout the hotel. As we are located in a rural location, the signal strength isn't super fast, although it should be strong enough for general internet browsing. West Wing rooms have either twin or double beds and are located in an annex adjoining the main castle.
