They started out from a small workshop in Stewart Road, Bournemouth eventually moving to our present premises in Southcote Road during the harsh winter of 1963. Gordon's son Steve took over the day to day running of the business in 1984 and continues to do so. We pride ourselves in offering a personal service to our clients no matter how large or small the job is, offering free advice and a measuring service. We work with many local builders, property developers and the Local Council providing high quality joinery products.

read moreWe can supply and fit standard size frames and doors or we can produce odd size and shaped doors and frames in our workshop to fit any opening. All our doors and frames are made using traditional Mortise and Tenon joints that are glued and wedged. The beauty of purpose made joinery is that you can have whatever you want, whether you prefer all wood, fully glazed, half glazed, contemporary or traditional - we can manufacture the door of your choice in either softwood or most types of hardwood. We can provide you with a new frame for your door, with sidelights or borrowed light above.

read moreWe can manufacture and fit all types of windows from the traditional sliding sash box to modern day stormproof casement windows. All new windows can be fitted with double glazed units and draught seals to help keep your house warm and reduce heating costs. Modern windows and doors can be fitted with the latest Low-E double glazed units with Argon gas infill which gives a very low U value and meets current Building Regulations. Traditional Georgian style windows can be made using thin timber glazing bars and single glazing or we can use double glazed units with Duplex spacer bar in the units which we can over face with timber trims inside and out to give the same appearance as traditional windows.
