read moreWBC partners with several mission activities elsewhere in the world. Some through the Baptist Missionary Society and some through other organisations. These are people who are members at WBC who have been called to spread God's word and take their special skills into other countries. Our missionaries will be regularly prayed for during our services. But specific prayer needs for them will be focussed on at the evening service at 6pm on the 4th and 5th Sunday of each month. Mark and Andrea are working in Bardai which is in the Northern deserts of Chad.

read moreThis can include knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, darning, art work, writing. We meet on alternative Thursdays at 7pm at Wakefield Baptist Church = the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Those who come along are free to share concerns or joys with this very supportive group which closes with a prayer.

read moreThis for those who enjoy playing/singing worship music. People who are able to play an instrument or lead worship through singing are welcome to come along to the practices. We practice the songs to be used in the worship on Sunday morning and new songs to be used in the future.
