Our routine appointments are longer than usual as for the time being our hygienists will not be returning to work. Therefore any hygiene work will be carried out by the dentist. We hope to return our hygienists as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we do not have any Saturday availability at present however if you contact the practice we may be able to offer you late evening appointments through the week to accommodate your needs.

Hygienist Services
read moreWe believe that our patients deserve the benefits of the full spectrum of dental services that can assist in the protection of their overall medical and dental health. Please remember, good oral hygiene is a great habit to get into! Tooth loss, oral infections and severe gum disease can occur as a result of poor oral hygiene. There is usually one main cause, a build up of plaque around the gums and teeth. If left untreated, dental plaque can accumulate and may harden in to tartar or calculus. If the build-up of plaque is left untreated it may cause damage to the structure of your teeth and bones and a wide variety of other dental health problems.
Initial Consultation
read moreYou can expect your first visit to the practice to take approximately 30 - 40 minutes. The initial consultation will comprise of a full oral health examination. This involves taking of a medical, dental and social history. Dental charting along with a detailed gum examination and oral cancer screening are carried out. This appointment is designed to gain as much information as possible and to establish what the patient would like to achieve. We are aware that for some a visit to the dentist can cause dread and anxiety, yet good dental and oral hygiene advice can help you reduce these anxious visits.
Root Canal Therapy
read moreThis straightforward treatment can save your natural teeth from extraction. Long term the treatment is much less expensive than tooth removal if the gap needs to be filled with an artificial bridge, denture or dental implant. Once root canal therapy is completed, to prevent further decay, reduced bone and gum problems it is advisable to visit your dental hygienist on a regular basis. Inside teeth there is a fine space that contains nerves and blood vessels known as the dental pulp. If the pulp becomes diseased or dies, a toothache or abscess may occur.
