Gathurst Golf club is situated very near to Jct 27 of the M6 motorway, an 18 hole parkland course with a variation of hole designs to challenge golfers of all abilities. Work is continuous around the course, the new open ditch on the eleventh hole was added recently, the fifth tee has been re-laid and raised, golfers will have an altered view as they survey the pond to the left and out of bounds to the correct where the white stakes of the practice ground loom for the over cautious.
