The old fluorescent lighting was in desperate need of replacing due to failures and the constant humming was becoming a distraction to pupils. The recommendation was to install the Indi LED batten luminaire in both the showroom and the warehouse to provide a high level of illuminance. The existing halogen lighting was failing and therefore light levels were very low at 100 lux or below, plus a mounting height of 4.5 metres made the lights very difficult to access and maintain. Each light had a 100 Watt electrical output and were also extremely inefficient. The energy efficient solution that we recommended was to upgrade the lighting with the 32 Watt Manta LED spotlight to provide 78% savings on the electricity bill.
