read moreAlex, Delainey, Malakai and Quinn are originally from from Arizona in the US. Through our partnership with AT-3 the Schuberts have joined us to serve and prepare for ministry back home. Alex is studying for a Masters in Theology with Union School of Theology. Alex loves reading, evangelism and he heads up our beginners bible studies. Rich is our Pastor. He is married to Ruth and has three children, James, Hannah & Daniel. Rich comes from a non-Christian home and became a Christian when he was 14 listening to a clip of Billy Graham preaching.

read moreWe run various courses from time to time including the 3-2-1 course (which expands on this video) and Christianity Explored. These courses exist to help you to find out more. However, by far the best way to find out what it means to be a Christian is to come to church on a Sunday. Not only does this give you a great opportunity to speak to someone in person, you will also get to see and hear what Christianity is all about for yourself. We believe that God builds up local churches so that our whole existence might proclaim the good news (gospel) message about Jesus and our life together in Him.

In partnership with the faculty at Union School of Theology we are offering Open University accredited post-graduate diplomas (GDip) in theology right here at Worthing Tabernacle! Mainly based around food! We have regular breakfasts and other events like weekends away, sports and outreach dinners.

read moreFor many people, receiving a first class theological education means moving away from your church to study at University or Bible College. As well as (for many) being prohibitively expensive, campus based study often removes the student from the practice and reality of church life. For the budding student, the call to ministry will often come in a season of life when the upheaval of moving away would be a struggle. From a church leader's perspective, we are delighted when our folk take a serious interest in Bible College, but we are also aware that we'll lose an able member of our churches if they move away.
