The Restaurant
read moreThe Waterfront Restaurant as the name suggests enjoys uninterrupted views of the river from its full width picture windows, and as befits a working river there is always some activity to watch, be it an oil rig or cruise ship making its way majestically up to the harbour or if you are lucky enough, you may spot the school of dolphins which frequent the estuary from May to September. On occasions up to 25 of them have been seen frolicking no more than 100 meters from the shore. The restaurant itself was designed to resemble the below deck area of a sailing ship and a number of features from Captain Scott's RRS Discovery have been adapted to suit.
