The Shannon Inn

A POPULAR village pub which closed suddenly in 2008 has been refurbished and re-opened. The Shannon at Bucklesham, near Ipswich, has re-opened with a contemporary interior following refurbishment and the new owners have been greatly encouraged by local support. The increasing number of pubs which have closed for a range of reasons has caused concern among the licensed trade but we trust that pubs will survive if they adhere to certain basic principles.
