We apologise for this change to our published calendar but believe it is in the best interests of the pupils. This form is not available from LRGS; it will distributed by your primary school or your home LEA (ie Lancashire if you live in Lancashire, Cumbria if you live in Cumbria, and so on), usually in September of Year 6. To help children to familiarise themselves with the format and types of question found in the 11+ tests, GL Assessment have created free sample materials.

read moreThe entry requirement for Year 12 (Lower Sixth) is at least six grade 6s or better in the GCSE examinations plus a minimum of grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics. Students need a minimum of a grade 6 in any subject to be taken to A-level. A grade 7 (equivalent of an A) or above is required for A-level Mathematics and a grade 8 for Further Mathematics (available as a fourth A-level). Studying 4 A-levels is available to pupils who achieve grade 8 or above in five or more subjects. We will accept an equivalent level of performance in your country's exams and will require verification of results by your school.

If they miss this date, they have the opportunity to take the Boarders' Entrance Test on Tuesday 26 January 2021. If you would like to take the Entrance Test but have missed these dates, please contact us to see if we can make separate arrangements.
