An apprenticeship in the RAF, gave me basic hand skills in addition to a nice trade, and the integrity to work to a high level. Although I am a qualified engineer my hobby is refurbishing houses, I have done quite a wealth of that. I have tackled most projects from changing tap washers to installing kitchens and bathrooms. From putting up a stud wall and plastering it, to doing a complete loft conversion for some additional family space. I have worked as a carpenter, painter and decorator in London, a plumber in Paris, and put up ceiling tiles in Saudi Arabia.

Will likes flatpacks
read moreMy son Will is helping out with my work. He enjoys putting flat packs together, so he can help you out after you've done your shopping and need a hand putting up your new furniture. He's good at problem solving, and doesn't just do flat packs, call him for any general DIY type things around your house, I would recommend him highly, but then I am his father. Will studied engineering at Salisbury College, and has been using that knowledge over the last 20 years.
