Hotel in Tamworth, Staffordshire The hotel takes it's name from Tamworth's most renowned adopted son, Sir Robert Peel - the nineteenth Century statesman, Prime Minister, and founder of The Metropolitan Police - who was a member of Parliament for Tamworth from 1834-5 and 1841-6. The Peel Hotel is run and operated by the Gill family, drawing on over 30 years of knowledge in the catering, hospitality and hotel trades. Our priority is to make your stay as comfortable as possible, combining a nice standard of accommodation, a best quality, regularly changing menu and a fully stocked bar.
