The Old Rectory Guest House
Guest House in Belfast, County Antrim
The Old Rectory was founded in 1896 to house the Rev. Richard Seaver, the then minister of St. John's, Malone, and his family. It was designed by Henry Seaver, brother of the minister, and the architect responsible for the Church of St. John's itself. When 1st built the house was sited in green fields with unobstructed views of the Belfast mountains. Although you can still see the mountains, the area is now a leafy domestic suburb close to the many amenities that Belfast has to provide.
