Built in the remote Peak District village of Ringinglow in the early nineteenth century, the Norfolk served as a pub with beer and beds for weary travellers on the Sheffield to Buxton turnpike road. After refreshing themselves with food, drink and sleep, the travellers would continue - after paying their dues at the neighbouring Roundhouse roll booth.

read moreWe have thirteen ensuite bedrooms, all of which have been recently decorated and offer amazing views over the Mayfield Valley, Peak District and Sheffield. Each room is equiped with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, desk and chair, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a modern en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Whether it's work or pleasure, business or leisure, we have rooms to suit everybody's needs. Choose from classic style double and twin rooms, a family room with an additional sofa-bed (room 4), an extra-spacious ground floor room with disabled access and facilities (room 14) and two superior rooms (rooms 8 and 10).

This means that you can enjoy your entire wedding day in picturesque, comfortable surroundings without the stress of moving from venue to venue. You should do this as soon as soon as you have provisionally booked our Mayfield Room. Without the presence of the registrar there can not be a marriage, so booking early can save the disappointment of losing your choosen date. We can accommodate up to 60 guests for a civil ceremony and formal wedding breakfast and a further 40 guests for an evening buffet and reception.

Our Fulwood Room is ideal for between two to 14 guests, while the larger Mayfield Room can host up to 85 delegates.
