The Church sits at the middle of the parish, with the very well-known and popular Mug House public house in the church grounds. Both enjoy a perfect relationship with each other! A several hundred yards away is Claines Church of England Primary School, closely linked with the Church since it was set up in 1841. Claines has much historical appeal but continues to be a thriving community, as well as a pretty oasis, a conservation area and a place of spiritual appeal.
